What is contour wire foam cutter ?
A contour wire foam cutter is a specialized tool used to cut complex 2D shapes out of foam materials like PU,PE,EPS Cement, Rubber,Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), Extruded Polystyrene (XPS), and rockwool etc.
Instead of heat,it uses a high-speed abrasive steel or diamond wire traveling up to 280 km/h to mechanically "saw" through soft and rigid foams. The cutting wire is a closed loop to spin around the frame to support and cut. The cutter is preferred for high-density materials or when dust collection is integrated.
