What are flexible foam insulation materials?

Flexible insulation materials are types of insulation that are designed to be flexible and they conform to irregular shapes or surfaces which is cut by fast wire machine. They are commonly used in applications where rigid insulation materials may be difficult to install or where flexibility is required. Here are some examples of flexible insulation materials:

Polyolefin Foam Insulation

Elestomeric Rubber are Polymer with viscoelasticity.Elastomeric Nitrile Rubber ( NBR) is copolymer of acrylo-nitrile and butadiene. Nitrile Rubber is oil Resistant synthetic rubber. Its Physical and Chemical Property vary with different composition of Nitrile Polymer’s.
 
NBR is made in Hydrogenated version that is highly resistant to thermal and oxidative deterioration and remains flexible at lower Temp.
 
EPDM Rubber
Closed cell elastomeric foam insulation material manufactured from EPDM rubber in preformed tubing and sheet. It has low thermal conductivity and high water vapour diffusion resistance. It is free from HCFC and CFC. It is fiber free material and it ensures to save energy in eco friendly manner.
